Hutton thrilled by 'big' change he's seen from Morelos under Van Bronckhorst
Alan Hutton has claimed Alfredo Morelos looks “hungrier” under Giovanni van Bronckhorst at Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers defender and Rangers TV pundit suggested the change of manager has “sparked” the 25-year-old into life.
The Colombia international has started all three games of Van Bronckhorst’s reign so far.
He scored twice versus Sparta Prague and contributed an assist against Livingston.
However, he was unable to add to his attacking returns in Wednesday’s (1 December) 1-0 win over Hibernian and was subbed off after 66 minutes.
Despite that, Hutton insisted the striker looks to have more desire and willingness to do the hard yards under his new manager.

Asked what he made of Van Bronckhorst’s start at Ibrox, Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “I think one of the biggest things for me is that Morelos looks hungry.
“In the Sparta Prague game he was chasing, he was harrying people, he was making those runs down the channel.
“He looks like he’s got a little bit of a spark in him. Obviously, the new manager coming in has maybe sparked a couple into life.
“It’s not to say that Gerrard couldn’t get that out of them. Sometimes when a new manager comes in, you get that reaction from some players.”
Kemar Roofe’s late penalty secured victory over Hibs at Easter Road.
Morelos has scored nine goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for Rangers this season.
However, only four of those strikes have come in the league.
Rangers face Dundee on Saturday (5 December) before travelling to Lyon for their final Europa League group match.
