Sources: Conte tells Tottenham to let '£110m' Ndombele go in January
Antonio Conte has told Tottenham chiefs to offload Tanguy Ndombele in January and use any cash they can get for new signings, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The new manager has already called out the club’s record signing publicly and questioned if he has the work-rate and team ethic to fit into his side.
A Tottenham source has told Football Insider that Conte has gone even further behind the scenes and made it clear the club should listen to offers for Ndombele.
The manager does not believe the France international, 24, is capable of changing his ways and wants to bring in players who can follow his specific instructions.
It means all possible sale options are on the cards for Ndombele going into January, including a permanent deal, a loan, or a loan-to-buy.
In turn, Ndombele tried to leave Tottenham in each of the last three summers, including, remarkably, six weeks after he joined the club in 2019.

Football Insider revealed on 16 August that the midfielder had told club chiefs he wanted to quit Spurs in the final fortnight of the summer window.
However, Spurs did not receive any suitable offers for the France international.
The France midfielder has shown only glimpses of his talent since joining from Lyon in 2019 for £55m rising to £65m with add-ons and is under his fifth Spurs manager, including the caretaker Ryan Mason.
As pointed out by Spurs insider John Wenham, Ndombele has cost the club over “£110m” in transfer fee and wages of around £200,000-a-week.
The midfielder initially began this season frozen out of the team by ex-boss Nuno Espirito Santo before a run of five consecutive Premier League starts.
During Conte’s three matches at the helm, he has yet to start and had only 23 minutes of substitute action.
He was an unused sub in last Sunday’s 2-1 Premier League win over Leeds United.
