Newcastle United could sign £35m Allan Saint-Maximin upgrade from Leeds - expert
Kevin Campbell has claimed Newcastle United could seal a January move for Leeds United star Jack Harrison if the “money is right”.
The former Arsenal striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the 26-year-old is “always fit” – something Allan Saint-Maximin can’t offer the Magpies.
This site revealed during the summer window (23 August) that Leeds United slapped a £35million price tag on Jack Harrison to fend off interest from Newcastle.
Football Insider updated in October to reveal that the Whites are ready to offer the winger a double-your-money new contract.
However, Harrison is yet to sign such a deal and can walk away from Elland Road for free in the summer of 2024.
The former Man City ace has notched one goal and three assists in 14 appearances this season.

Saint-Maximin, who himself has been linked with Italian giants Juventus, has managed just four league starts in an injury-ravaged 2022-23 season.
Campbell suggested Leeds United could be open to a deal if a fee would allow them to strengthen their squad.
He told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “Harrison could be a really good squad player for Newcastle.
“He can play either side, and he’s always fit. That’s the thing that Saint-Maximin can’t bring.
“He’s always having these hamstring and muscle injuries. Harrison is fit, strong, he assists, he scores – he’d be a really good addition.
“I don’t think Leeds United can afford to let him go, but everyone’s got a price.
“If the right money comes in, I can see them letting him go so they can go out and strengthen in other areas.”
