Aaron Wan-Bissaka backed to sign for West Ham after new development - 'all of a sudden'
Kevin Campbell has backed West Ham to sign Man United outcast Aaron Wan-Bissaka amid a backdrop of defensive injuries at the London Stadium.
The former Arsenal striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the 25-year-old right-back has been unfairly treated at Old Trafford after helping them to a second-place finish in the 2020-21 season.
According to Irons insider ExWHUEmployee, speaking on his The West Ham Way Podcast (12 December), the Londoners have an interest in Wan-Bissaka and are considering a potential loan approach in the January window.
This news comes after Football Insider revealed last month (25 November) that David Moyes’ side are willing to sell Vladimir Coufal in the winter window and will accept a bid of £6million amid interest from Europe.
Nayef Aguerd and Kurt Zouma are among the defensive stars currently on the treatment table at West Ham – while Craig Dawson and Angelo Ogbonna have also struggled for fitness this term.
Wan-Bissaka, who can also turn out as a centre-back, has featured just once in all competitions this season – a four-minute Premier League cameo in August.

He has slipped down the Old Trafford pecking order after signing in 2019 for £50m from Crystal Palace.
Campbell told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “He’d be a good signing at West Ham, if I’m honest.
“When United finished second in the Premier League and he was playing right-back, I didn’t hear about any problems.
“But all of a sudden, the form changed, and it was all his fault – suddenly he’s not capable.
“Ten Hag doesn’t fancy him, that’s pretty clear. He’s got to get out of Man United and play football.
“West Ham could do with more legs in that backline after some of the injuries they’ve had, and he’d definitely be available.”
