'Watch out' - Erling Haaland has 'big demand' of three Man City superstars, says expert
Kevin Campbell has insisted Erling Haaland will “demand” the best from his Man City teammates after disappointing World Cup campaigns for the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden, and Bernardo Silva.
The former Arsenal striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed those City stars have “something to prove” after they failed to secure international glory in Qatar.
Norway international Haaland, 22, has been out of action for more than a month with his nation failing to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar.
The red-hot forward posted a training picture to his Twitter account on Wednesday (14 December) ahead of his return to action in the League Cup against Liverpool next week (22 December).
Haaland, who has warned rivals that he is “raring to go” following the World Cup break, has scored 23 goals in 18 games since joining Man City in the summer window.
The reigning Premier League champions trail Arsenal by five points at the top of the table.

Campbell told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “He’s going to come back and want to win both the Premier League and the Champions League now.
“He’ll have sat there and watched his teammates at the World Cup, and that desire will just be building inside of him.
“He will demand big – the best from Kevin De Bruyne, the best Phil Foden, the best Bernardo Silva.
“All of these players have got something to prove now after their disappointing time at the World Cup.
“Watch out Premier League, because this City team have got something to prove now.”
