Sources: This is what Conte made Tottenham players do after Burnley match called off

Antonio Conte ordered his Tottenham stars to undergo training back in London straight after the Burnley postponement, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.

The Premier League clash at Turf Moor was postponed 50 minutes before the 2pm kick-off because of heavy snow.

A Spurs source has told Football Insider that the first-team squad flew straight back to London after the postponement and were then put through their paces by Conte and his staff at the Hotspur Way training ground.

The notoriously demanding Italian was unwilling to give his players the afternoon off.

Speaking to club media on Sunday, Conte revealed his “real disappointment” at the Burnley game’s postponement.

However, the Spurs boss insisted the officials were right to call off the Premier League clash.
