Leeds United tipped to complete major signing in 'big' claim - pundit
Leeds United tipped for winter signing spree after a disappointing start to the season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former West Ham striker Frank McAvennie urged Leeds to add quality signings that are going to get them back to the Premier League.
The Whites are currently ninth in the English second division with ten points from their first seven matches of the season.
Leeds made several new additions to their squad this summer after losing a number of key players following their relegation from the Premier League.
Daniel Farke’s side agreed permanent deals for Joel Piroe, Ethan Ampadu, Ilia Gruev, Glen Kamara, Karl Darlow, and Sam Byarm and secured loans for Jaidon Anthony, Joe Rodon and Djed Spence.
The Whites were recently taken over by the 49ers Enterprises who are valued at a reported £4.8billion.

When asked if Leeds fans should expect to see their new owners’ net worth reflected in upcoming windows, McAvennie told Football Insider: “They will not be spending too much.
“They need to buy players that are going to get them back to the Premier League. They are not going to get the big players no matter how much they spend because they will not want to play in the Championship.
“They have got to buy players to get them up and they have got to do it quickly. They have got to have deals ready to get done the first day the window opens. Every game now is a hard one.“
