'Everyone's exploded' - Jurgen Klopp 'is laughing' after source's Liverpool reveal, says pundit
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has “thrown a grenade” by suggesting their game against Tottenham should be replayed.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former West Ham striker Frank McAvennie claimed Klopp knows that there is no chance he game will be replayed and was just trying to wind everyone up.
As quoted by Sky Sports (4 October), the German suggested the game between Tottenham and Liverpool should be replayed after the PGMOL admitted that the officials were wrong to disallow Luis Diaz’s goal.
The Reds went on to lose the game 2-1 as Spurs retained their unbeaten Premier League record.
Football Insider revealed on Wednesday that the Premier League will not allow the game to be replayed.
When asked what he made of Klopp’s suggestion, McAvennie told Football Insider: “Never going to happen.

“Klopp is a very intelligent guy, he knows it is never going to happen – he just flung that grenade. I think he has pulled the pin out, flung it in and let it all kick off and it has done.
“He will be laughing at it all because deep down he knows he is not getting a replay. As soon as he said it I knew he was just trying to get everyone exploding.
“You cannot replay it because you would have to replay most games and people would go all the way back to older decisions.
“A few things have gone Liverpool’s way that have gone against other teams so they have had it for them and against them.“
