Pundit: Erik ten Hag 'should be sacked by Man United' after source's reveal - 'I knew something was up'
Erik ten Hag does not have what it takes to manage Man United.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former West Ham striker Frank McAvennie claimed Ten Hag has not delivered on the promises he made to fans.
The Durchman has been at the helm as United endured their worst start to a season in 37 years after losing six of their opening ten games for the first time since 1986.
On Wednesday (4 October), Football Insider revealed that the United board remain behind the manager, despite their run of poor results, and believe he is the man to turn things around at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are not yet considering sacking their manager even after Tuesday night’s Champions League defeat to Galatasaray.
When asked if Ten Hag deserves to still be in charge of United, McAvennie told Football Insider: “No, not at the moment. He should be sacked.

“I knew something was up when Ronaldo went there and had a go at all the players, that was a terrible indictment.
“He did not want [Cristiano] Ronaldo, thought he could do it his own way and for me he has not got it right.
“I do not think he is the finished article, he has not done what he promised. He promised so much but he has not delivered.
“They have had great managers walk in there and they have not been able to change it so what chance has Ten Hag got.“
