'It is terrible' - Marcus Rashford is crumbling apart at Man United as new footage analysed, says pundit
Marcus Rashford is crumbling under the pressure at Man United this season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former West Ham striker Frank McAvennie suggested fan criticism is affecting Rashford’s performances on the pitch.
The 25-year-old has endured a difficult start to the season and has netted just one goal in nine appearances so far.
United have also massively struggled so far this season, logging their worst start in almost 40 years after losing six of their opening ten games.
Erik ten Hag’s side are tenth in the Premier League table with three wins and four losses from their opening seven matches.
The Red Devils have had an uninspiring start to life in the Champions League and are bottom of group A with no points on the board.

As shown on TNT Sports (4 October), in their 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray, Rashford was one on one with goalkeeper Fernan Muslera and opted to pass to Bruno Fernandes, which was intercepted, instead of trying to get a shot away himself.
McAvennie suggested the recent criticism of the player and club led to Rashford’s miss on Tuesday night.
“Everyone is moaning about Rashford about how he does not shoot and he does not pass,
“The other night he was through on goal and he passes when he should have shot. That is because it is getting into his head and people are having a go at him.
“It is terrible. If you have got a lot going on in your head then you are not going to score.“
