Sources: Jadon Sancho update at Man United as new details emerge
Jadon Sancho remains in limbo at Man United as his exile from the first-team squad continues, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider revealed last month (18 September) that Sancho must make a public and private apology to Erik ten Hag in order to be restored to the squad.
The duo were involved in a public spat after Ten Hag criticised the winger’s training levels in the aftermath of Man United’s loss against Arsenal in September.
Sancho subsequently hit back on social media in a post which has since been deleted, claiming he has been a “scapegoat” for a long time at the club and insisted he has conducted himself “very well” in training.
Sources have told Football Insider that the England international is yet to make an apology to the Man United boss – and therefore he will continue to train away from the first-team squad.
He is on an individual training regime and has been spotted watching the Under-18 side in action on multiple occasions.

The fact he has yet to apologise and is still frozen out will be regarded as astonishing by many United fans given the player’s calibre and value , especially given the team’s struggles.
Sancho had made three substitute appearances in the 2023-24 campaign prior to the clash.
According to FBRef, he earns a weekly wage of £250,000 – meaning he is among the highest earners at Old Trafford.
Sancho cost a reported £73million when he joined Man United from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021.
He has managed 12 goals and six assists for the club since his arrival.
In Sancho’s absence, Man United have picked up just 12 points from their opening eight league games of the season.
The Red Devils have also lost their opening two Champions League games against Bayern Munich and Galatasaray.
In other news, Man United plan to sign defender in January with duo to be sold.
