Kieran Maguire savages Glazers after Man United twist - 'they're a disgrace to football'
The Glazers are a ‘disgrace to football’ for overcharging Newcastle United fans for their upcoming clash against Man United.
That is the view of finance expert Kieran Maguire, who spoke exclusively to Football Insider about the rise in ticket prices for traveling Newcastle fans.
The Magpies are set to travel to Old Trafford for their Carabao Cup clash on 1 November.
However, the Red Devils decided to increase their away ticket prices for Newcastle fans to £39.
Newcastle will have an increased allocation of 8,000 seats for the match next month but have been forced to pay an inflated price by the Glazer family.
Maguire slammed the Glazers for the ticket price rise, claiming that facilities at Old Trafford have become outdated due to their lack of investment.

“Glazer Greed, unfortunately, has become a watchword for all that is bad in football,” Maguire told Football Insider’s Sean Fisher.
“The Glazers know that Newcastle will travel in numbers regardless of the price.
“I think it’s indicative of the cynicism of the Glazers that they are taking these fans for as much as they think they can get away with.
“The facilities for away fans at Old Trafford are very poor – it’s impossible to sit down.
“I think if you’re more than six foot tall it is practically impossible to sit down.
“The facilities are not representative of the 21st century but are indicative of the lack of investment in Old Trafford by the Glazer family.
“They’ve got the cheek of the devil to charge these prices, especially for a Tuesday or Wednesday night match.
“They’re a disgrace to football.“
