Sources: West Ham three-man signing plan revealed as striker talks underway after £40m bid
West Ham have opened talks with Sevilla over the signing of Youssef En-Nesyri as they continue to push for a new centre-forward, sources have told Football Insider.
No formal bid has yet been made for En-Nesyri, who has entered the final two years of his contract, but discussions are underway with his club over a potential deal.
The Morocco international, 26, is seen by the London club’s recruitment team as a powerful centre-forward who would be a like-for-like Michail Antonio replacement.
He has two years remaining on his Sevilla contract and is valued at around the £30m mark.
West Ham also have an interest in Hugo Ekitike, the PSG striker who joined on an initial loan last summer before his move became permanent in the current window.

Football Insider revealed the Irons have registered their interest in a deal for the 21-year-old, who endured a dismal first season in Paris.
He came close to joining Newcastle last year, when he was also on the radar of West Ham.
West Ham are keeping their options open over a new striker amid interest in Antonio from Saudi Arabia.
The long-serving Irons front man will not be allowed to leave unless a replacement is secured before the window shuts.
En-Nesyri has a fine scoring record for club and country, with 17 goals in 61 Morocco appearances.
He also netted 18 goals from 48 Sevilla appearances last season in all competitions and has already opened his La Liga account for the new campaign.
