Sources: Celtic open talks over signing five players in late-window blizzard
Celtic want to sign five more players in an astonishing last-window spree, sources have told Football Insider.
The Glasgow giants are in talks with Greek club Aris FC over a deal for winger Luis Palma after submitting a £3.5million bid.
Celtic are also targeting a new goalkeeper, left-back and centre-forward, while they are now in the market for a centre-back.
Brendan Rodgers confirmed on Thursday that injuries to Cameron Carter-Vickers, Maik Nawrocki and Stephen Welsh means the club will have to turn to the market for a replacement.
With four other positions the club want to fill, Celtic are likely to be very busy over the next week.
It is believed talks are already underway over securing their top targets in the positions identified.

Last week (19 August), Football Insider has been told by sources that the Hoops were well placed to sign Kieran Tierney after Newcastle United ended their interest in the left-back.
The former Celtic star has been linked with a sensational return but it is now looking likely that the Scotland international will join Real Sociedad on loan for the current campaign.
Rodgers could still be set for exits this summer with Football Insider revealing (24 August) that winger Sead Haksabanovic is looking to quit the club before the end of the window.
The 24-year-old has been frustrated by a lack of minutes in the side especially since the Glasgow giants lost fellow winger Jota earlier in the window.
