Sources: Arsenal in advanced talks over £50m deal - announcement this week
Arsenal are in advanced talks with Emirates to extend their front-of-shirt sponsorship deal, Football Insider understands.
The Gunners are set to continue their relationship with the United Arab Emirates-based airline company, who have been their shirt sponsor since 2006.
The latest deal struck between both parties was a six-year agreement in 2018 worth £40million per season.
But with that deal set to expire next summer, talks have been held over extending the deal on improved terms.
Football Insider understands the new deal will be worth as much as £50million per season to Arsenal, drawing them level with the value of Liverpool’s Standard Chartered deal.
The agreement is in the final stages, and an announcement is expected as early as this week.

Mikel Arteta’s side are set to face Monaco in the Emirates Cup as part of their pre-season schedule on Wednesday evening (August 2).
Both parties feel that fixture would be an ideal time to consolidate their relationship and announce an extension to the sponsorship deal.
Emirates also purchased the stadium naming rights to Arsenal’s stadium in 2012, paying £4million a year to have their name attached to the 60,700-capacity venue.
That deal is still set to run until 2028 and is not expected to change alongside the shirt sponsorship deal.
The improved terms of Arsenal’s deal will boost the club’s commercial revenue for the 2023/24 season onwards, with the north London side posting commercial revenue of £141million in their latest 2021/22 accounts.
