Revealed: Everton to land £38m payout after deal agreed

Everton are on track to earn £38million from sponsorship, advertising and merchandising next season, Football Insider can reveal.

The Toffees signed a one-year sleeve sponsorship deal with online streaming company Kick this month, adding to their growing list of commercial partners.

Football Insider understands that the Kick agreement is worth between £1.5 – £2million per season – making it more lucrative than the £1million per season deal with previous partners Boxt.

Boxt signed a sleeve sponsorship deal with the Merseyside club in 2022, but the agreement was discontinued this summer with Everton eager to find a more valuable offer.

Everton initially launched their 2023/24 home kit in June without a sleeve sponsor before signing the Kick deal a month later.

Kick are set to appear on the men’s, women’s and Under-21s shirts for the upcoming campaign as well as receiving brand representation at Goodison Park and Finch Farm.

The Blues also extended their deal with kit manufacturer Hummel last summer, with that agreement understood to be worth around £10million per season.

Online gambling company Stake remains as the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2023/24 season after signing a £10million per season deal last year.

Overall, Football Insider analysis expects Everton to receive a total of £38million from sponsorship, advertising and merchandising next season.

That marks an increase of £3million from their previous sponsorship revenue of £35million posted in their 2021/22 accounts.

Revenue from sponsorship, advertising and merchandising contributes to the overall commercial income of the club, which was recorded at £50.4million in 2021/22.
