Exclusive: Agbonlahor drops massive Tottenham-Kane transfer claim
Gabriel Agbonlahor has made the huge claim that Harry Kane will snub potential transfers and remain at Tottenham “for the rest of his career”.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Aston Villa striker insisted even the top clubs are likely to be unwilling to meet Spurs chairman Daniel Levy’s valuation of his prize asset.
Kane is viewed by the Premier League club as a potential £200million asset as a result of his extraordinary exploits for club and country.
But he turns 28 next summer and Agbonlahor believes he is getting to the age where even the richest teams won’t want to pay a record-breaking fee for him.
“He’s 27 now, he’ll soon be 28 is that the sort of age where clubs are like ‘Hmm, we’re not sure’,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.
“Daniel Levy is not going to let him leave on the cheap. Even though he’s an outstanding striker and England’s best striker, I don’t think clubs are going to pay the fee that Spurs will want for a 27, 28 year old.

“I feel like he will stay at Spurs for the rest of his career.
“I do actually think that Spurs will win a trophy this year. They’ve got the team there they’ve got the squad, and they’ve got the manager who knows how to do it.”
Kane has had a sensational start to the new season for Spurs and is one of the biggest reasons his club are being tipped for a shock title challenge.
The England captain has scored 11 goals and supplied nine assists in his 12 matches in all competitions.
