Man City tipped to hijack Chelsea's Moises Caicedo deal after source's reveal - Agbonlahor
Gabby Agbonlahor has claimed long-term Chelsea target Moises Caicedo would be open to joining any of the Premier League’s top sides this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Aston Villa striker insisted the Blues’ reluctance to meet Brighton’s valuation of the 21-year-old could lead to a hijack from a rival.
Chelsea have been leading the chase for Caicedo all summer and have had multiple bids rejected by the Seagulls as they hold out for their £100million asking price.
Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (8 August) that Mauricio Pochettino is expecting the Ecuador international to be his player by the end of the transfer window.
Chelsea are expected to launch another £90million bid for Caicedo – who has refused to train with Brighton as he bids to move clubs this summer.
With his next destination still uncertain, Agbonlahor believes that the midfielder will be open to joining any of the Premier League’s biggest sides.

“I don’t think he has a preferred club to go to,” he told Football Insider.
“If Liverpool come in he says yes, if it’s Arsenal, Man City, Man United or Newcastle he will still be open to joining all of them.
“He will go to which one’s going to come up with the money to sign him.
“I don’t think he has a certain club which he has set his sights on.
“I think it’s like give him one of the big names in the Premier League or in Europe and give him the £200,000-a-week in wages, and he will be open to the move.”
