Agbonlahor shares Sean Dyche sack verdict after what he's seen at Everton
Gabby Agbonlahor has claimed Sean Dyche’s job at Everton is “safe” despite their poor start to this season.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the signing of Beto should lead to an upturn in form after poor finishing displays early this term.
Everton lost the first three games of the Premier League season but recovered to draw 2-2 away at Sheffield United on Saturday (2 September).
The Toffees also advanced in the League Cup thanks to a crucial goal from Beto, who joined late on in the transfer window for a reported fee of £25.75million.
Everton narrowly avoided relegation last season, leaving it until the final day to seal their top-flight status.
Dyche took over at Goodison Park in January and has won six of his 22 games in charge.

When asked if Dyche’s job is any danger after their start to the season, Agbonlahor told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “No, no chance.
“If they had a decent striker they probably would have beaten Wolves, beaten Fulham.
“They’d have given Aston Villa a better game.
“They have no depth up front, so I can’t see any manager doing better.
“Sean Dyche is doing his best, and I think his job is safe. There’s no more any other manager could do and I can’t believe anyone would think that.
“They had so many chances against Wolves, and he’ll be hoping now that Beto is here – more of them go in the back of the net.”
