Arsenal told to bin Thomas Partey in January as new concerns emerge - Agbonlahor
Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted Arsenal should look to sell Thomas Partey in the January window “if the money is right”.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the Gunners should find a long-term replacement for the 30-year-old with his injury problems only set to worsen with age.
Football Insider revealed on Saturday (16 September) that Partey could consider a move away in January if he falls out of favour with Mikel Arteta – amid links with Italian giants Juventus.
The Ghana international, who could play in the African Cup of Nations early next year, is currently out injured with a groin problem.
It is believed Partey is not slated to return until after next month’s international break.
According to Transfermarkt, he has missed 45 games for club and country through various injury problems since moving to the Premier League.

The ex-Atletico Madrid star started each of the first three games of the 2023-24 campaign in an unfamiliar right-back role following Declan Rice’s signing.
Agbonlahor told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “I would let him go.
“Some games he’s poor, some games he’s very good, and some games he is injured.
“When you sit down and work it out, is he giving you more than 50% of a season of his best football?
“Is he doing enough?
“If I was Arsenal I’d sell him if the money’s right. I think they were trying during the summer.
“I would look at a long-term replacement because as much as he’s a good player, the injuries will just get worse the older he gets.”
