Agbonlahor can't believe Jarrod Bowen could join Arsenal after West Ham insider news
Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted Jarrod Bowen should pledge his future to West Ham as he is not at the “level” to join a top-four club such as Arsenal.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 26-year-old is the “main man” at the London Stadium and “everything makes sense” about his affiliation with the Irons.
Bowen is out of contract at West Ham in June 2025 after arriving at the club in January 2020.
According to club insiders Claret and Hugh (27 September), the delay in renewing the forward’s deal is down to financial reasons.
The England international, who has notched four goals and one assist in six games this season, currently earns a reported wage of £60,000-a-week at the London Stadium.
Bowen was instrumental as David Moyes’ side won the Europa Conference League in the 2022-23 campaign, registering 13 goals and eight assists across all competitions.

Agbonlahor told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “I don’t think he’s at the top four level.
“I think he’s just at the right level. If he was at an Arsenal, for instance, he wouldn’t play.
“Maybe Newcastle and Man United, he’d get into those sides.
“But I think West Ham want to be in the top six, and that’s his level.
“He’s important, he’s the main man there. Everything about him at West Ham makes sense, and a new deal should be something that both sides agree on.”
