Sources: Gonzalez jets over for final Wolves talks with deal close
Wolves are inching closer to completing a deal for Paraguayan sensation Enso Gonzalez, sources have told Football Insider.
The 18-year-old and the president of Libertad are currently flying into Europe to hold talks with Wolves and finalise a move.
The Premier League side have been keeping tabs on the young winger after he impressed scouts while playing in his homeland.
Football Insider first revealed on Tuesday (29 August) that Wolves were exploring a move for Gonzalez.
With just days remaining in the transfer window, Gary O’Neil’s side are looking to get a deal over the line for the exciting prospect.
The Midlands outfit see Gonzalez as a potential star in the making and are keen to secure his signature ahead of other interested parties.

Wolves have struggled to find the back of the net so far in the 2023/24 season, scoring just twice in their first three fixtures despite creating an abundance of chances.
Gonzalez is able to play anywhere across the front line, having played both left and right-wing for Libertad last season as well as occasional outings in midfield.
He scored three times and assisted twice in 30 appearances in 2022/23.
Gonzalez started the season as an option off the bench for Libertad but ended the campaign with 14 consecutive appearances in the league.
Should Gonzalez complete his move to Molineux he will be the club’s fifth signing of the summer after Mattheus Cunha, Boubacar Traore, Matt Doherty and Tom King joined the side.
