Exclusive: Smith Rowe transfer pact with Arsenal revealed
Emile Smith Rowe is weighing up his options amid a continued lack of involvement at Arsenal, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed the 23-year-old is currently content at the Emirates Stadium but will have to re-assess his future if his lack of football continues.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that both club and player could agree the time is right to move on if more signings arrive in the coming windows.
Arsenal are considering making further signings in the January window, which would only push the England international further down the pecking order.
Mikel Arteta’s star-studded lineup has been hit with a series of injuries in recent weeks – but Smith Rowe is still not playing regularly.
Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka have struggled for fitness recently.

Smith Rowe has played 115 minutes of action across five appearances in the 2023-24 campaign with Arsenal still unbeaten in all competitions.

The 23-year-old managed 10 Premier League goals in the 2021-22 season but could not contribute a single strike last term.
He is under contract at the Emirates Stadium until June 2026 after signing an extension in 2021.
Arsenal are yet to suffer a defeat in the 2022-23 campaign and face Lens in the Champions League on Tuesday (3 October).
