Pundit tips West Ham to sign McKennie and three other top stars after source update
West Ham could sign Weston McKennie and “three or four” more top players if they rake in £90million from the sale of Declan Rice.
So says ex-Premier League goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the latest transfer news from the London Stadium.
This site first broke news on 27 September that the Hammers plan to sell Rice for around £90m to avoid him running down his contract.
Football Insider also revealed the following day that West Ham have opened talks with Juventus over midfielder Weston MckEnnie, 23.
An Irons source updated on 1 October to reveal that a fee of £35m would be enough to seal the deal.
Rice is under contract at the London Stadium until 2024, while MckEnnie‘s Juve deal expires the following summer.

And Kenny claims that Rice’s departure could kick-start a spending spree.
He told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams: “You could see them signing him and three or four others with that kind of money.
“It’s a huge amount of money, £90m. They could maybe get McKennie and then spend the rest of the money getting a few more in.
It’s no coincidence that these stories have come out at the same time. They are probably thinking that if he does go, they want to strengthen even more.
“I really like West Ham. They have got a great squad and when I’ve seen them play this season I’ve been so impressed.”
