Sources: Major Tomas Soucek update after new West Ham talks
Talks between West Ham and midfielder Tomas Soucek over a new contract have stalled in the last year, sources have told Football Insider.
The 28-year-old has been linked with Italian giants Inter Milan in recent days.
Soucek is currently out of contract at West Ham at the end of the 2023-24 campaign – although the London club have the option to extend his stay a further 12 months.
It is believed the Irons are keen to keep the Czech Republic international at the club and have held talks over a new deal.
But those discussions have stalled – opening the door to potential suitors, including Inter.
Soucek remains a key part of the West Ham side following the departure of Declan Rice in the summer window.
