Liverpool fans are all saying the same thing as they react to Bissouma red card for Tottenham today

Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying the same thing as they react to Yves Bissouma’s sending off for Tottenham in their 1-0 Premier League win against Luton Town on Saturday afternoon.

It comes in the wake of last weekend’s controversial decision to disallow Luis Diaz’s goal against Spurs.

The PGMOL have already admitted fault for disallowing the Liverpool goal last weekend and claimed the VAR officials made an error and the goal should have been allowed to stand.

Earlier this week, the refereeing body released the audio from the VAR room where the official mistakenly presumed that the onfield referee had opted to allow the goal before realising his error after play had resumed when the replay operator pointed out the mistake.

The Reds went on to lose the game 2-1 after an injury time Tottenham shot was sent into the net by Joel Matip.

Bissouma was sent off against Luton on Saturday (7 October), after he was shown a yellow card for simulation shortly after a first booking for a challenge on Chiedozie Ogbene.

Liverpool fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, have been universally enjoying the Spurs midfielder’s misery as they shared upbeat reactions.

One fan shared a compilation of celebrations claiming it is how Reds fans will be reacting to the sending off:

Another suggested Bissouma was competing in the “diving Olympics” and couldn’t believe the decision from the player.

Others were delighted to see the 27-year-old “finally” getting his comeuppance for numerous dives.

But one fan wasn’t letting the officials cover up for their mistake last weekend.

In other news, Liverpool now want to sign left-sided star in January.
