Revealed: Everton set sights on signing two strikers - Sources
Everton are keen to add two strikers to their squad in the summer window, sources have told Football Insider.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that adding forwards is a “top priority” for Toffees boss Sean Dyche.
Dyche is desperate to improve the potency of his side following another brush with relegation in the 2022-23 campaign.
Everton avoided the drop on the final day of the season, ending the campaign with just 36 points.
Two wingers led the scoring charts for the Merseysiders, with Dwight McNeil and Demarai Gray managing seven and six goals respectively.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin endured another injury-plagued season, notching just two goals in 18 appearances across all competitions.

Former Brighton ace Neal Maupay was brought in by ex-manager Frank Lampard for a reported £12million last summer (2022).
However, the Frenchman could not find form in an Everton shirt – scoring just one goal in 29 total appearances in all competitions.
Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (20 June) that Everton are open to selling Maupay this summer – with the striker attracting interest from France and Italy.
The Toffees’ transfer business this summer could be dictated by financial worries which continue to plague the club.
Football Insider revealed last month (22 May) that the Merseysiders will have no money to play with in this summer’s transfer market and will have to operate a sell-to-buy policy.
Everton are yet to make a summer signing despite losing Yerry Mina, Tom Davies, Asmir Begovic and Andros Townsend at the end of their contracts.
Conor Coady has also left after the expiration of his loan deal.
