Revealed: Rangers in new Jonathan Panzo talks - sources
Rangers have begun a new round of talks with Nottingham Forest over a deal for Jonathan Panzo, sources have told Football Insider.
Forest are believed to be holding out for a fee of around £2million and negotiations are continuing today as the Light Blues search for a breakthrough.
The Gers face competition from rival clubs for the 22-year-old but Ibrox chiefs are hopeful that they can secure a deal in this window.
The centre-back’s current contract at Forest runs until 2025 after he joined from French side Dijon in 2022.
Panzo has made just one appearance for Forest since his arrival last January and spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Coventry where he made 32 appearances across all competitions, scoring once and providing one assist.
Football Insider revealed yesterday (13 June), that the Gers have been in talks with the defender over a potential deal.

Today (14 June), Football Insider revealed that Lammers is set to undergo a medical today as the Gers look to finalise the signing of the striker.
