Gabriel Jesus 'cheesed off' as controversial new Arsenal footage emerges - Campbell
Kevin Campbell has claimed Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus “may have got away with one” against Man United on Sunday.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Highbury favourite said Jesus, 25, was “cheesed off” after some rough treatment from United’s centre-halves.
Mikel Arteta’s side lost 3-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday (4 September).
As shown on Twitter, via The Express (6 September), Jesus appeared to kick out at Red Devils defender Lisandro Martinez in previously unseen footage.
Campbell believes the incident would have seen Jesus booked if it was spotted by the officials.
“When you are a striker and you are getting buffeted from pillar to post you have to be careful,” he told Football Insider.

“Let’s not forget it was Brazil against Argentina, Jesus and Martinez, so there was no love lost between them.
“It was a physical game. Jesus started to get a little bit cheesed off with some of the treatment. He took matters into his own hands.
“Let me tell you, Jesus can look after himself. He gave the centre-halves as much as they could handle. It was a physical battle all game. They knew they have been in a game.
“There was a little bit of naughtiness off the ball at some stages. Both players were involved in that though. It is what it is.
“Jesus may have got away with one. He might have got a yellow card if the referee saw it.”
