Sources: West Brom, Luton Town, Oxford United and Barnsley in race to sign Tottenham midfielder Harvey White
West Brom, Luton, Oxford United and Barnsley are racing to sign Tottenham midfielder Harvey White by Tuesday’s deadline, sources have told Football Insider.
Spurs are ready to send White out on loan before the window shuts and his availability has alerted a host of second and third-tier clubs.
Championship duo West Brom and Luton as well as League One’s Oxford United and Barnsley have registered their interest in late-window deals.
Tottenham and White, 21, are now assessing the options available to him before deciding what club to join on loan until the end of the season.
Football Insider revealed on Saturday (28 January) that the midfielder is no longer on the radar of Championship side Blackpool.
White made his Premier League debut earlier this month (4 January) in the convincing 4-0 win at Crystal Palace.

The academy product has made the bench under Antonio Conte on a number of occasions this season, including for five of Spurs’ six Champions League group games.
The midfielder’s only loan spell away from the club came in the 2020-21 season, with Portsmouth – making 22 appearances and six starts on the south coast.
White has spent the last 18 months at Hotspur Way playing for the club’s youth sides, and has worn the captain’s armband on a number of occasions.
He is primarily a defensive midfielder but can also play further forward – as well as filling in at left-back.

West Brom and Luton are both in Championship playoff contention this season.
