Sources: Luton Town plot move to sign Ryan Mmaee
Luton Town are interested in signing Ferencvaros striker Ryan Mmaee, sources have told Football Insider.
Mmaee is on the list of the newly promoted side who have already spoken to a number of options as they search for a new striker.
Football Insider has also learned that reports of advanced talks with Alfredo Morelos are wide of the mark as Luton weigh up an offer for Mmaee.
The 25-year-old’s contract at Ferencvaros runs until 2025 after joining from Cypriot side AEL Limassol in 2021.
The Morocco international made 36 appearances for his current club this season and bagged 13 goals and four assists in those outings.
The striker has also earned 12 caps at international level for Morocco and made his senior debut at 18 years old.

Mmaee featured heavily in his national side’s World Cup qualification campaign, scoring four goals and offering up four assists in just eight games in what turned out to be an incredibly successful World Cup for the Moroccans.
Luton are eyeing up the striker as they begin their first foray into the English top flight for the 2023-24 campaign.
Earlier this year (5 April), Football Insider revealed that former PL side Leeds United had been keeping close tabs on Mmaee but a potential deal was dependent on them avoiding relegation.
Leeds were ultimately demoted to the Championship after finishing 19th in the Premier League, making room for the Hatters to swoop on Mmaee.
