Former Leeds forward Stuart McKinstry is signing for Scottish Championship club Queen’s Park, sources have told Football Insider.

The 21-year-old has agreed terms and is set to pen an initial contract until next summer.

McKinstry left Leeds United in the summer on a free transfer having played at Motherwell on loan last season.

The Scottish youngster had interest in the summer from Gillingham, Forest Green and Wrexham but was keen to stay north of the border.

McKinstry joined Leeds from Motherwell in the summer of 2019 and played in the Premier League under Marcelo Bielsa.

He made two total senior appearances for the Whites, both of which came in the 2021-22 campaign.
