Sources: Tottenham open talks to sign Adarabioyo in swap deal
Fulham and Tottenham are in talks over a swap deal involving Tosin Adarabioyo, Eric Dier and cash, sources have told Football Insider.
Both players are in the final year of their contracts at their respective clubs but could be set to move within London before the 1 September deadline.
Football Insider revealed earlier this month (14 August) that there is a real possibility of Dier, 29, quitting Tottenham this summer.
Fulham have emerged as the frontrunner to complete a late-window deal – but it is believed interest from other clubs in England and Europe could yet throw a spanner in the works.
Football Insider first revealed Tottenham’s interest in signing Adarabioyo earlier this summer (23 June).
Spurs could face competition for his signature too, with widespread reports suggesting Monaco are also admirers and have seen a bid rejected.

Adarabioyo has been missing from the matchday squad in Fulham’s first two games of the Premier League season with Marco Silva’s side now braced for him to exit.
The centre-back made 29 appearances across all competitions in the 2022-23 campaign and notched one goal as the Cottagers recorded an impressive 10th-place finish.
Fulham activated a one-year extension clause in Adarabioyo’s contract back in January but may be forced to sell this summer to avoid losing the defender for free in 2024.
Dier has been at Tottenham since 2014 and has turned out 361 times across all competitions – but is yet to win a trophy with the Lilywhites.
He too was left out of the matchday squad by manager Ange Postecoglou for the first two Premier League games of this season.
