Sources: Fulham submit Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg offer as Tottenham prepare to sign replacement
Fulham have submitted a bid of £30million including add-ons for Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as they work on securing a replacement for Bayern Munich target Joao Palhinha, sources have told Football Insider.
The Spurs midfielder is one of multiple options contacted by the Cottagers, alongside Man United’s Scott McTominay and Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana.
Tottenham are keen to move Hojbjerg on before the 11pm deadline cut-off but are holding out for a straight £30m fee for the 28-year-old.
The Dane is keen to move having not started any of Ange Postecoglou’s first three Premier League matches in charge.
Atletico Madrid have agreed personal terms with Hojbjerg but not a price with Spurs and hope them lower their demands to allow them to move again for the midfielder before the transfer window closes at 11pm on Friday night.
Hojbjerg’s potential exit could allow Postecoglou room to sign a midfield, with Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher among his targets in the final hours of the window.

Fulham, meanwhile, have rejected an initial £47m bid from Bayern Munich for star midfielder Palhinha. They are holding out for at least £60m and could re-invest the windfall in multiple players.
Palhinha is keen to leave Craven Cottage and has already agreed personal terms with Thomas Tuchel’s German champions.
It comes as Bayern Munich have given the green light for Ryan Gravenberch to complete a £34.2m move to Liverpool.
The Dutchman flew to Merseyside on Thursday night and is undergoing a medical on Friday after agreeing a five-year contract.
Wolves have also had a bid rejected for Harrison Reed with Fulham locked in talks to sign Everton’s Alex Iwobi before the cut-off.
