Sources: Crystal Palace and Leicester City set sights on Sheffield United star Rhys Norrington-Davies

Crystal Palace, Leicester and Bournemouth are tracking Sheffield United star Rhys Norrington-Davies, sources have told Football Insider.

The left-back, 23, has played a starring role in United’s climb to the top of the Championship table and top-flight clubs are keeping watch.

Premier League trio Palace, Leicester and Bournemouth are also sending scouts to regularly keep tabs on Norrington-Davies.

Norrington-Davies has been in fine form for club and country so far this season, starting both of Wales’ recent Nations League games against Belgium and Poland.

The 23-year-old has also been instrumental in helping Sheffield United to the top of the Championship table with some impressive performances and his displays have not gone unnoticed among some Premier League suitors.

Palace, Leicester and Bournemouth are all looking to add to their defensive options in January.

Sheffield United will be reluctant to lose Norrington-Davies as they look to mount a bid to win promotion back to the Premier League this season.

The Blades reached the playoffs last season but failed to make it to Wembley after losing on penalties to Huddersfield in the semi-finals.

Norrington-Davies spent time on loan at Barrow, Rochdale, Luton Town and Stoke City before nailing down a regular spot at Sheffield United.

The defender has started every game of Sheffield United’s season, mainly as a centre-back but also on the left of midfield on three occasions.

He has made 37 total appearances for the club.
