Pundit on Chelsea signing Jadon Sancho in swap deal - 'there's more to it'
Frank McAvennie has urged Chelsea against signing Jadon Sancho from Man United.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former West Ham striker is worried Sancho is not consistent enough for the Blues.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato (4 December), Graham Potter’s side are interested in the 22-year-old and there is suggestion they could offer Christian Pulisic to united as part of a swap deal in the January window.
The report claims that Juventus are eyeing up Pulisic which could pave the way for Sancho to head to London.
Sancho has endured a tough spell at Old Trafford since completing a £72million move in July 2021.
His current deal at United runs until 2026.

The winger has made 14 appearances for the Red Devils so far this season and has scored three goals and provided one assist in those outings.
Chelsea confirmed the signing of Raheem Sterling in the summer on a five-year deal.
The forward joined the Blues from Man City after spending seven years at the Etihad.
The 28-year-old has struggled since arriving at Stamford Bridge with just six goals in 27 appearances.
McAvennie is worried Potter’s side could face similar problems with Sancho.
“Are they going to take another player like Sterling?” he told Football Insider.
“Sancho is like Sterling, he can play great for three or four games and then miss half a dozen.
“Will he go to Chelsea? I do not know. I do not know if Chelsea would want another player like that. Maybe there is more to it.“
