Agbonlahor: Celtic tipped to sign multiple dazzling youngsters amid Howe latest
Celtic should look to sign “young fresh players” rather than the likes of Steve Cook, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England striker insisted the Hoops do not need any more players who are “getting on a bit” like the Bournemouth captain.
The Scottish Sun report Eddie Howe will make Cook one of his top transfer targets this summer if he takes over at Parkhead.
This site understands Howe reached a verbal agreement to become the next Celtic manager last week after talks with Dermot Desmond in London.

Asked whether Cook would be a good first signing for Howe if he was to take over, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “I don’t think so, no.
“Celtic don’t want to be looking at players who are getting on a bit. They want to be looking at younger players and attracting younger players.
“I don’t see that happening.
“Celtic will want young, fresh players to come in and give them a helping hand.”
Cook’s Bournemouth contract expires at the end of the season and will therefore be available for free transfer in the summer.
The 29-year-old has played over 350 games for the Cherries after joining from Brighton & Hove Albion almost a decade ago.
In other news, a Celtic colossus could join a Premier League side for just £5million after a reported update, according to a top pundit.
